Side effects

Side effects that may occur during treatment with terazosin include weakness, fatigue, drowsiness, restlessness, headache, dizziness, paresthesias (tingling sensations), decreased libido, changes in vision, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and nasal congestion. The "first-dose phenomenon," characterized by a sudden and severe decrease in blood pressure and possible orthostatic collapse, may occur after the initial dose or after dose increases.
