Drug interaction

Dimenhydrinate can significantly enhance the effects of several drug classes, including atropine and other anticholinergic agents, tricyclic antidepressants, catecholamines, barbiturates, alcohol, sedatives and hypnotics, and neuroleptic (antipsychotic) medications. Conversely, dimenhydrinate may weaken the therapeutic effects of corticosteroids and anticoagulants (blood thinners). The antiemetic response to apomorphine is diminished by dimenhydrinate. Missed dose

Overdose

Storage

Store dimenhydrinate at controlled room temperature between 20–25°C (68–77°F), protected from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. Keep in original packaging until ready to use. Store out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
